How We Started
I got started in this product by necessity, when my mother simply asked my
neighbors to bring their aluminum cans to the house so she could make a little
spending money to supplement her social security.
The next thing I knew was, I had a mountain high pile of aluminum cans.
We spent most all day bagging up the loose and busted bags of aluminum cans into
my pick-up and trailer.  It looked like when I was a kid, going to the cotton gin.
Except when we carried our cotton to the gin we at least made a profit for our
long hard hours of work.  This time we were greatly disappointed.
I found out real quick, that carrying a lot of volume and no weight was a
waste of time.  No money in selling more air than  aluminum. So I had a problem
to solve.  How to carry enough aluminum cans at one time to make it profitable,
with out costing more that the cans were worth.  Just crushing them wasn't the
answer. They still had more volume that weight.  Compacting seemed like the
way,  but the recycler wouldn't take them because they could not be inspected
for foreign materials.
Thank  God he gave me the ability to solve mechanical  problems.  So after
much thought and time of trying different ways of storing and handling  them I
came up with the
"CAN-BALER"
The next time I hauled a load of cans to the recycling center they could not
believe their eyes.  200 lbs.  Of  cans in the back of one pick-up truck.  They
just cut the nets or bands and the cans splayed out like dishes.  On my next load
I had 400 lbs of aluminum in the back of my truck.
My neighbors now call me the can man.  They know that my idea works and
they won't see the eye sore with all the critters thats associated with aluminum
can recycling.  In fact they don't even know when I carry a load to market
because they can't see them anymore.
They are delighted that they no longer have to deal with sorting and
carrying then to the curb for recycling.  I just put a container for them to throw
their cans into and I pick them up and bale them and keep the stack of can money.

THIS IS A GOOD WAY FOR GROUPS OR CLUBS TO MAKE A NICE PROFIT TO
SUPPORT THEIR ACTIVITIES OR CHARITY.  THINK ABOUT IT, IF YOU HAVE
10 TO 30 FAMILIES THATS  MORE PROFIT THAT SELLING COOKIES OR
RAFFLE TICKETS.
